Stats: How Luis Diaz Has Sparked New Life Into Roberto Firmino And Sadio Mane

Liverpool’s £37million addition of striker Luis Diaz from Porto in January added an element of uncertainty to the immediate futures of both Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane - whose respective contracts expire in 2023. But both have responded with aplomb and reminded the manager, fans, and pundits of their worth - yet again.

The Colombian has added yet more depth - and goals - to an already fruitful forward line, but the noticeable improvements in Firmino and Mane's performances are there for all

“I would have liked to have played more games if I’m being honest” – Cheltenham Town loanee Kion Etete regrets his lack of playing time at the League One club this season.

It is time for Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to leave Liverpool

Following Liverpool’s Carabao Cup victory over Chelsea on Sunday evening, Jurgen Klopp described Caoimhin Kelleher as ‘the best number two [goalkeeper] in the world.’ However, with the Irish shot stopper turning 24 this year, it is time for him to seek regular first team football away from Merseyside.

Kelleher made several key saves during the 120 minutes of action at Wembley to help send the match to penalties, and despite not managing to keep out any of Chelsea’s spot kicks, the number 62 emp

Pep Lijnders the ideal candidate to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool

Liverpool's modern golden era is largely down to one man, Jurgen Klopp, who has guided his side to their sixth Champions League and first topflight title for 30 years.

However, the German cannot remain on Merseyside forever. In the past, the 54-year-old has made his plans for a sabbatical clear when his tenure at LFC ends, so perhaps it’s not too early to begin thinking about possible candidates to take over the reins.

Why would Pep Ljinders be a perfect replacement?

Opinion: Liverpool Should Have Re-signed Coutinho!

Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool to join Barcelona in 2018, for what was at the time the second most expensive transfer ever - £142million.

However, his time in Spain has been frustrating. Despite having moments of magic, he has become a seemingly unwanted figure at the Spanish giants, as loan spells to Bayern Munich and now Aston Villa have shown.

The Brazilian’s importance for Liverpool throughout his five-year stay was immense. He picked up Liverpool Fans’ Player of the Season as well as Li
